Two people were injured Saturday afternoon after a pickup truck struck a parked vehicle and two vendors in the downtown area following the conclusion of the Sun Prairie Farmers Market.

Both victims were transported by Sun Prairie EMS to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Preliminary information indicates the incident appears to have been accidental, and there is no evidence at this time to suggest it was intentional.  Reports indicated that the driver showed no signs of impairment.
The crash remains under investigation, and no enforcement decisions have been made.

Officials are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has video footage from the area to contact the Sun Prairie Police Department at 608-837-7336.
